The establishment of this program since we do not want that kids end up alone at home or in the streets. Children who do not participate in after school programs also have a higher percentage skipping classes and using illegal drugs. Some of the important benefits of the after school program like the sports and academic development are that they keep children away from violence, delinquency and it provides them with an opportunity to learn in after school activity. Their school, their sports and their activities end up being the most important things in their lives. For all these reasons it is important for all congressmen for support and the approval of funds to establish the after school care program for low income families. All the help and support we can obtain will be greatly appreciated. The activities, the sports, academic development, keep children away from violence and delinquency, social development, better relationship with adults and friends, and helps reinforce school values. The community and families are important because their influence allows children to develop their own interest and who their friends will be and who their friends are. Their school, their sports and their activities end up being the most important things in their lives. In addition, children are becoming addicted to their game systems. They are caught up in watching television or playing playstation, wii, or xbox that it can cause them to not to do their homework which means that they might not get good grades in school.
